Horacio Pagani is one of the most extraordinary figures in the history of automotive design — an Argentine-born Italian craftsman whose obsession with beauty, engineering perfection, and artisanal excellence produced some of the most celebrated automobiles ever created: the Pagani Zonda and the Pagani Huayra.

Born in Casilda, Argentina, Pagani moved to Italy in 1983 to work for Lamborghini, where he became a pioneering force in carbon fibre technology. In 1999 he launched Pagani Automobili with the Zonda C12 — immediately acclaimed as a masterpiece that completely redefined what was possible in supercar design. Each Pagani vehicle is hand-built to a level of detail and finish that has no parallel in the automotive industry.

Pagani is deeply influenced by Leonardo da Vinci’s concept that art and science are inseparable — that a thing of true beauty must also be of perfect engineering, and vice versa. This philosophy makes him as compelling a figure in design philosophy as in automotive performance.
